Nail Correction Vs. Surgical Treatment

Nail Correction Vs. Surgical Treatment

At Your Feet only provides non-surgical treatments.

Surgical & Surgery-Free treatments all have their place.

Not everyone with an ingrown toenail

is a candidate for Ingrown Toenail Surgery.

Many, if not most ingrown toenails can be treated in a non-invasive (non-surgically) way.

Surgical Treatments:

  • Require the use of anesthesia (freezing of the area)
  • Use of instruments to surgically remove toenail or a section of toenail
  • Recovery time a few days to 2 weeks (depending on the procedure)
  • Dressings/Bandaging
  • Chance of infection
  • Use of Antibiotics
  • $$$

If you chose to have surgery we strongly recommend you see a Chiropodist or Podiatrist for this treatment!

We can refer to you one if you'd like.
